Pollution is the most important problem in my city. Pollution causes some illnesses to people as breathe problemes. It is caused because people don’t recyde correctty, they cal too much plastic cand they also throw varte in to the sea. If we don’t soluvle this problem, we won’t live in aheathly world. I think a solution for the contamination is that when we throw the trash we can throw it to the trash that it touches and not to the ground there is another trash. Another solution is not to use the plastic, if not the glass, because it can be reused, instead of seeing with a plastic bottle we can do it with a canteen.

Dears dad and mum.

Thank you very much for sending me the magic ball for my birthay. It was amzing. It was a big surprise. I love it.

I had a perfect day. Your present was extraordinaris, ball! I was apening the parcel when my frienda arrived to my home. At night, you took me and Jana to a restaurant of my town. It was dad's birthay, too. Finally, we had together dinar and I we played football with my nez ball, we have very funny, do you remember?

U1 WRITING ABOUT AN EVENT

Last summer I was in Balaguer Fair with Carla Torruella because she invited me.

We went together to a concert. The music was very long and we coudn't hear the singer's voice. So, we decided to com back home and watch a film.

The music stoped at 5 a.m because. There was a problem with the loudspeakers. I enjoyed it a lot, because I love soing aut with my friends, and because I met a girl that I liked very much.

What is your full name?

My full name is Lourdes Guillen porta.

When and where were you born?

I was born in Corsar in 1951 3th of December.

What kinds of things did your family do together when you were young?

I went with my family to the "festa major" of the villages where I met my family and I swam in the river.

Who were some of your friends when your were a child?

Some of the friends were the girl of the town.

What school did you attend?

I lived in Àger, Corsar and Bellpuig.

What were your favourite subjects in school?

My favourite subject were Geographi, Biology and mathematics.

What type of music did you listen to?

I listened many Kind of music. the Beatles and all the singers and grups of that time.

Did you practise any sport?

I practiced Basquetball.

What job did you do?

I warked in a clothing woekshop and as a cooker in a restaurant.

What were some of your favourite things (such as favorite colors, flowers, books, songs, foods, or pets)?

Some og my favourite things were the flowers, nature, bells and horses.

Did you have a favourite toy as a child?

When I was a child, my favourite toy was a doll and her bed,

I met him because he worked wiyh my father.

My first job was as a dressmarker in a workshop.

Where did you travel when you were young?

When I was young, I traveled to Brcelona and Lleida.

What were your grandparents like?

My grandparents were very lovely, caring people and I have very good memories of them.

What is different about growing up today than when you were a child?

Growing up today is very different because things have changed a lot.

MY FIRST DAY AT ACHOOL

I started school when I was three years old. I don't remember the first morning. There were not many children in the classroom, so it wasn't quite noisy. It was funny and I liked it.

My teacher's name was Mr Silvia. She was very beautiful, with small, broxn eyes and shart, straight, blond hair. She was vwey kind and she helped me with my clothes.

In the classroom. there was a blackboord withs same letters. I wrote with my first friend, Irene. She was shorter than me, with  short, curly, brown hair and big eyes. She was very funny. We played with dolls in the playground at break.
