INTERNACIONAL WOMAN'S DAYS.

KATHERINE SWITZER.

 She was born January 5, 1947 todey she 72 years old.

She was the first woman to run a maraton with a numbred entrant in 1967.

In the picture one race official attemped to stop Katherine.

It was not until 1972 that women were allowed to run the Boston Marathon officially.

CHAPTERS

CHAPTER 1 SUMMARY

        

The profenor, buys a book and finds a note with instrictions to go to the certye of the Earth.

The professor and his rephew Axel decide to make the trip.

CHAPTER 2 SAMMARY

The profesor, a gide, and Axel go to the volcano in the horsers. After a week of travelling the men slowly climbuy to the top of the volcano.

CHAPTER 3 SUMMARY

The profesor. the guide and Axel climb down into the crater of the volcano. The climb down of the volcano is long and difficult.

CHAPTER 4 SAMMARY

When the three men finish at the botton of shaft, they go to the tunnel and they run out of water, Axel listent a river and he tsies to pick in the rock. He finds the water and they drink. Axel go to exploin it.

CHAPTER 5 SAMMARY

The Professor and Hns finally find Axel. The Professor and Hans show Axel their discovery. Two days later, the raft is ready and they set sail. They sail for many days. Later one afternoon suddenly, anothert monster appears. The monsters fight.

CHAPTER 6 SAMMARY

The fight is over. One of the monsters is dead. The pther monster dives under the water. The men countinue sailing. Early one morning the sky has a strange colour. The storm is very violent. For three days they bottle strong winds and raun.

CHAPTER 7 SAMMARY

The Axel and the professor faild of the see. Hans rescatew of the Axel and professor. The professor and Hns go to continue, but Axel go to his houses.

CHAPTER 8 SAMMARY

The professor is determined to find the center of the Earth. White Hns repairs the raft, Axel and the Professor lak around. The men hide behind some bushes. The professor finds intials on a cave wall.

CHAPTER 9 SAMMARY

The professor and Axel get Hns and return to the cave. The man leave the cave and Hns prepares the gumpdwder. Hns light the gunpoweter. Afew minutes later, the gunpower exploder. But something has gome wrong. Ahuge wave carries them inside the cave.

CHAPTER 10 SAMMARY

The Professor, Axel and Hns are trapped inside on exploding volcaneo! Sddenly, the raft flies out of the volcano. The reft aroshes on the side of the mountain. The men run for their live from the erupting volcano. At the bottom of the volcano, they find avineyard. They walk until they find a small seaside town. Several weks later in Hamburg. The town has a party for the men.
